As we stand on the threshold of a new academic session, I extend a warm welcome to the innovative world of our autonomous institute PBCOE wherein PJLCE has been merged. For the holistic development of students every year our institute organizes various Curriculum enrichment programs like Guest lectures, Workshops, Seminars/Conferences, Industrial Visits/Tour, MoU's etc. To inculcate universal values in students we organize various activities like Republic Day, Independence Day, Saraswati pooja. Further for Capability enhancement of students we conduct Bridge courses, Yoga, meditation, Career Counseling & Soft skills training sessions. Beyond regular academics we have Knowledge Corridor at PBCOE wherein we conduct several activities which reveals students latent skills. Further, our Institute is always inclined towards Outreach activities and faculty empowerment strategies, we organize and promote faculty to participate at various FDP, STTP, etc. Our T&P Cell is also equally prescient; it helps students to find placement. Diligent results of our students have taken our institute to an altogether new horizon. This is well proven by the fact that our institute has been accredited with the prestigious "A" grade by NAAC. National Education Policy 2020 has brought about significant changes in the Indian education system. The NEP aims to transform education by focusing on holistic development, multidisciplinary learning, and skill enhancement. At PBCOE, we have embraced the NEP's principles and are actively incorporating them into our curriculum. We are dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals who possess not only subject knowledge but also the ability to adapt, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Brief Introduction of Principal : -
Dr. Abhay M. Shende is an eminent scholar with over 26 years of experience as an academician, researcher and administrator. He holds a D.Sc., Ph.D., MTech., B.E. in Civil Engineering, and has strong research in Civil Engineering.
Dr. A. M. Shende has published more than 43 research papers, in journals, conferences, and book chapters, author of book that include 18 publications in Scopus-indexed journals and two granted patents. He has guided more than 03 PhD students. He is associated as a Senior Member, a Life Member, with the professional bodies the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Life Member, of the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) and Life Member, of the Institution of Engineers (IE), Assessor of NAAC Since February, 2019.
Dr. Shende was honored with the “Principal Excellence Award 2024” (Western Zone) by Edu-Skills Conclave, “Rashtra Seva Puraskar” for the promotion of Higher and Technical Education and Accreditation at National level 2023, “Best Principal award for year 2020”, “Best Indian Educationist Award” and “Bharat Excellence Award” by the hands of Hon’ble Ch. Randhir Singh, former Governor of Sikkim at New Delhi.
After successful completion of his tenure as a Principal of Priyadarshini J. L. College of Engineering for 13 years, he has now Principal of Priyadarshini Bhagawati College of Engineering, a leading institute of LTJSS group wherein Priyadarshini J. L. College of Engineering has been merged. It is well said ‘Together we achieve more’ with this mantra he has once again embarked his journey with his tenacious determination and commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity and intellectual curiosity.
